Image A bit of before–and-after fun. Always looking for jobs that can de done once the kids are asleep and between feeding Kester, I decided to have a go at fixing the taps in the bathroom. For some reason they had been painted over in magnolia gloss to match the rest of the room. Predictably enough the paint had flaked and chipped. So, armed with eco-friendly low VOC paint stripper from Nutshell Natural Paints, I set to work.

To be honest, it wasn’t much work at all. The paint stripper loosened most of the paint overnight. A bit of elbow grease the next day with wire wool and a cream cleaner was all it took to get the last of the paint off and, ta-dah, unpainted taps with a lovely battered glow about them!
